Jodi G Designs transformed this Santa Barbara vacation home into an airy coastal getaway, mere steps from the owner’s main house.

Jodi G Designs brought the couple’s dream vacation escape to life, creating a vibrant living space that conjures the beautiful Pacific Ocean — located just within reach. Simultaneously playful and sophisticated, this elegant beach house showcases the owners’ incredible fine art collection while providing the comfort and warmth of a summer home shared with little ones. The original space was gutted to create a more open space with sweeping coastal views. The team collaborated with the couple to hand-select fabrics, artwork and one-of-a-kind furniture to invigorate the space. With artwork by Karen Bezuidenhout, painted glass pieces by Cassandria Blackmore and driftwood furniture by Michael Fleming, the home is layered with intrigue, color and texture. A unifying color palette exists within the space, creating a seamless environment that feels expansive and welcoming. The grandchildren’s rooms evoke a sense of childlike delight through the use of color, playful furniture and custom artwork.

A welcome refuge for friends and family, the Driftwood Beach House inspires hospitality from its insightful design and the vivacious spirit of its inhabitants.
