As a beloved and long-time client of Jodi G Designs, the homeowner of this Los Olivos Farmhouse had a natural repertoire with our team – and trusted in Jodi’s expertise.

With its small town charm, Los Olivos, and the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley, deeply inspired this project.

With this home, our client was looking to retain the California, coastal charm that Jodi G Designs brought to her Santa Barbara beach house. Impeccably remodeled by the prior owners, our team sought to enhance the existing space with carefully sourced vintage and refreshing hues.

Enlivened by the landscape and history of Los Olivos, the interiors were modernized with white flooring and walls for a clean and bright feel. This served as the perfect backdrop to antique rugs, classic stripes, and rustic furniture. Each piece was handpicked, or specifically designed, for the space by Jodi G Designs. Jodi played with the dichotomies of both new and old, as well as coastal and country. In the kitchen, Jodi let the classic checkered flooring direct the space and upholstered the banquet in contrasting stripes alongside white wainscoting and traditional white marble countertops – for a country feel.

Storage and organization are key in this cozy charmer, so Jodi was sure to add plenty of useful (and gorgeous) storage. From a refined credenze for speciality dinnerware to a mirrored vintage armoire in the bedroom, our client’s organization woes were elegantly resolved.

This intimate farmhouse now speaks to the homeowner’s sensibilities and decor preferences – and provides her with a beautiful space free of clutter. Plus, plenty of room for her pup to roam.
