Nestled on a breathtaking property in the hills of Montecito lies a luxurious home designed by architect William Hefner.
The home consists of three buildings connected by breezeways with two stand-alone units, a pool house, and an artist’s studio. Featuring high ceilings, expansive glass walls, native stone, and magnificent light, this home was a dream canvas for Jodi and her team.
The client envisioned a clean and modern interior design style, a nod to wabi-sabi. Jodi was brought on to be innovative, upholding a minimal style, while delicately bringing in one-of-a-kind and eclectic pieces.
Jodi worked closely with the client, spending months treasure hunting to find vintage furnishings and textiles. The use of these textures, natural materials, and muted colors adds character and warmth all while blending in with stunning surroundings and architecture. Jodi introduced top-of-the-line, modern furniture to beautifully contrast with the vintage for clean yet textural aesthetic.
Jodi made sure to personalize every room to reflect each family member’s personality while retaining a seamless flow from room to room. Each space is devoid of clutter, visually balanced, and calming. This zen home with a modern rustic touch is exactly what the client envisioned.
